Job Description
Are you a creative visionary with a passion for music and a knack for trending short-form video content? Spotify is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music App Content Creator to join our remote team. This role is focused on developing engaging and viral content specifically for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, promoting new music, artists, and features within the Spotify ecosystem. You will be instrumental in expanding our reach, driving user engagement, and fostering a vibrant community around music discovery. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere, provided you meet our remote work requirements. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and optimizing short-form video content that resonates with a broad audience of music lovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, script, film, and edit engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms, primarily focused on music discovery and Spotify features.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, sounds, and challenges on TikTok and Reels, adapting content strategies to maintain relevance and virality.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, artist relations, and product teams to align content with broader campaigns and product launches.
- Utilize analytics to track content performance, identify successful strategies, and continuously optimize future content.
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments and fostering interaction.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and platform best practices.
- Experiment with different content formats, styles, and storytelling techniques to keep the audience captivated.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in creating engaging short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Demonstrable understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, DaVinci Resolve Mobile).
- Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics and sound design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A deep passion for music across various genres and a genuine interest in music discovery.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Media Arts, or a related field.
- Experience managing a successful TikTok or Instagram Reels account with a significant following.
