Job Description
Join FedEx Ground as a Hub Associate in Madison, Wisconsin! This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for individuals looking to start a career without prior experience. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, trailers, and conveyor belts.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Sort packages by destination in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic familiarity with warehouse or logistics operations (not required).
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
