Job Description
Join Target as a Magazine Sorter in our Warwick location! This role is perfect for students looking for part-time, indoor work with flexible hours. You will be responsible for accurately sorting and organizing incoming magazine shipments, ensuring they are prepared for distribution or display. This is a crucial role that helps maintain the order and efficiency of our product flow within a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort magazines and other printed materials according to established guidelines (e.g., by title, publication date, category, or destination).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Handle all materials with care to prevent damage.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damaged items, or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Assist with other general warehouse or store tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Basic organizational skills and a tidy work ethic.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform light lifting (up to 20 lbs) for extended periods.
