Job Description

Dangote Cement PLC is offering an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Trainee Forklift Driver. No prior experience is required, as we are committed to investing in your future by fully funding your forklift licence training. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Wuse, Abuja. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment, learning to safely and efficiently operate forklift trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in comprehensive forklift operation training, adhering to all safety protocols and instructions.
  • Learn to safely and efficiently operate various types of forklift trucks (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks) under supervision.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and placement.
  • Help with stacking and organizing goods in the warehouse or production facility.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support warehouse and production operations.
