Job Description
Join the Greggs team as a Fast Food Associate in our vibrant Headingley branch! This role is perfect for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service. As a Fast Food Associate, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our customers enjoy delicious food and a welcoming experience. While the title includes ‘Life and Disability Insurance’, this primarily refers to internal company categorisation and the comprehensive benefits package available to our team members. Your primary focus will be on food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently, handling orders and payments accurately.
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and hot snacks following company standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the shop floor, dining area, and food preparation areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision.
- Stock shelves and displays, ensuring products are fresh and well-presented.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers, resolving queries where possible.
