Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and exceptionally reliable Luxury Armored Car Driver with a specialized high-security focus to join our elite team in Huntsville, AL. This critical role involves the secure transport of high-value assets, precious metals, fine art, and other luxury goods for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients. The successful candidate will operate state-of-the-art armored vehicles, adhering to stringent security protocols and maintaining the utmost discretion and professionalism at all times. This position demands a keen eye for detail, exceptional defensive driving skills, and an unwavering commitment to safety and asset protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate armored vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Execute secure pick-up and delivery of high-value assets, ensuring precise tracking and documentation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all high-security protocols, routes, and schedules to minimize risks.
• Maintain constant vigilance and situational awareness to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Communicate effectively with security dispatch and team members using secure channels.
• Complete all required paperwork and digital logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs for defensive driving and security procedures.
• Represent GardaWorld with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
• Respond effectively and according to protocol during emergency situations.

Required Skills

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Proven experience operating heavy-duty vehicles, preferably armored or commercial trucks.
• Exceptional knowledge of defensive driving techniques and evasive maneuvers.
• Strong understanding of high-security protocols and risk assessment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary security clearances and firearms permits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform duties in varying conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an armored car driver or in executive protection.
• Military or law enforcement background with tactical driving experience.
• Advanced certifications in defensive driving, evasive driving, or security operations.
• Proficiency with GPS navigation and secure communication systems.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
