Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible role that fits around your life? Gorillas is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Rapid Grocery Delivery Runners to join our dynamic team in The Lace Market, Nottingham. As a Gorillas Delivery Runner, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring fresh groceries reach our customers quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick up grocery orders from our local hub in The Lace Market.
- Safely and quickly deliver groceries to customers within the designated delivery zone.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle/equipment (e-bike, scooter, etc.).
- Represent Gorillas positively in the community.
Required Skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
- Valid driver's licence (if using a motor vehicle) or ability to ride an e-bike/bicycle.
- Access to a smartphone with data.
- Ability to lift and carry grocery bags (up to 15 kg).
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Nottingham's city centre.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles.
- Knowledge of local Nottingham areas beyond The Lace Market.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
