Job Description

Are you a master of organization with a passion for transforming chaotic spaces into havens of order and efficiency? California Closets is seeking a dedicated Garage Clutter Transformer – Organization Specialist to join our team in Santa Ana. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in bringing our custom garage storage designs to life. You’ll work directly with clients, our design team, and installation crews to ensure every garage transformation exceeds expectations, making cluttered spaces functional, beautiful, and inspiring. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to physically manage and organize items within a garage environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute on-site garage organization plans, including sorting, decluttering, and arranging items according to client preferences and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their organization challenges and provide expert guidance on storage solutions and best practices.
  • Work closely with California Closets designers and installers to ensure seamless execution of custom garage systems.
  • Safely handle and categorize various garage items, from tools and sports equipment to holiday decorations and automotive supplies.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive client experience from start to finish.
  • Document progress and communicate any challenges or changes to the project manager.
  • Ensure the workspace is kept clean and organized during and after the transformation process.
  • Provide recommendations for future organization and maintenance to clients.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in organization, decluttering, or personal assistant roles with an emphasis on physical space transformation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Proficiency in basic hand tools and the ability to work safely in a garage environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with custom closet or garage systems.
  • Certification in professional organizing.
  • Familiarity with various garage storage solutions and products.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
