Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Work From Home Dietitian / Nutritionist to join our innovative virtual care team. In this fully remote role, you will provide personalized nutrition counseling, support, and education to a diverse client base, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals from the comfort of their homes. This position requires a strong understanding of evidence-based nutrition practices and excellent communication skills for virtual consultations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans and dietary recommendations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to clients through secure video conferencing and messaging platforms.
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, disease management through diet, and preventative nutrition.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the Teladoc Health network as needed to ensure holistic client care.
- Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations.
Required Skills
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Active state licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in at least one US state (Illinois preferred or ability to obtain).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and empathetic communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telehealth or remote patient care delivery.
- Specialization or certification in areas such as weight management, diabetes, sports nutrition, or gut health.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, French).
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
