Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented 17-year-old teens to join our team as a Part-Time Inventory Tagger at our Mira Loma location. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a retail environment, learning about inventory management and operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are accurately stocked and products are correctly identified, contributing to a smooth and organized store operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag and label incoming merchandise with price, product code, and other relevant information.
- Assist in organizing and restocking inventory in the backroom and on sales floors.
- Verify product counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Ensure all products are correctly positioned and presented according to store standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including inventory storage areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures related to inventory handling.
- Assist with other general store duties as needed, supporting the team.
Required Skills
- Must be 17 years old at the time of application.
- Ability to read and understand product labels and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse setting (not required, but a plus).
