Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking vigilant and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Site Security Guard. This licensed role is ideal for 18-year-old teens looking to start a career in security, specifically for night shifts. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client’s premises in Pasco, WA. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the property, responding to alarms, and ensuring the adherence to security protocols. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to act professionally under pressure. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, ensuring all access points are secure.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for any suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities.
Required Skills
- Valid Security Guard License (State of Washington)
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid certification
