Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our dynamic team in Croydon. This is an immediate start, full-time position working Monday to Friday, offering consistent hours and a competitive hourly rate. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of parcels to a variety of customers across Greater London and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess a C1 driving license, a valid CPC, and a digital tachograph card, along with a commitment to excellent customer service and adherence to all road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for deliveries and collections.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes.
- Load and unload parcels, ensuring secure transit.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and use handheld scanners.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
- Adhere to all driving laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
- Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid C1 driving license
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good geographical knowledge of Greater London
- Ability to lift and move parcels
