Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bottle Filler to join our cosmetics manufacturing team in Jersey City. This entry-level position involves operating automated machinery to fill cosmetic bottles, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety standards. This is a crucial role in our production line, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated bottle filling machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor machine performance and product flow to ensure consistent quality and fill levels.
- Load empty bottles onto the production line and remove filled bottles for subsequent packaging stages.
- Conduct routine visual inspections of bottles and filled products for defects, leaks, or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly following all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating simple automated machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in cosmetics or food.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
