Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team, focusing on consistent client assignments within the Queen Anne area of Seattle. This role emphasizes building a strong, trusting relationship with individual clients, providing personalized care that allows them to remain comfortably and safely in their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks relevant to the client's immediate living area.
- Accurately document care provided and observe/report changes in client's condition.
- Administer medication reminders as per care plan.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
- Adhere to all BrightStar Care policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Current HHA certification in Washington State.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational and reporting abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes in the Queen Anne area.
- Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 6 months of verifiable experience as a Home Health Aide or CNA.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
