Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team, focusing on consistent client assignments within the Queen Anne area of Seattle. This role emphasizes building a strong, trusting relationship with individual clients, providing personalized care that allows them to remain comfortably and safely in their own homes. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
  • Assist clients with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks relevant to the client's immediate living area.
  • Accurately document care provided and observe/report changes in client's condition.
  • Administer medication reminders as per care plan.
  • Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
  • Adhere to all BrightStar Care policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Required Skills

  • Current HHA certification in Washington State.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong observational and reporting abilities.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes in the Queen Anne area.
  • Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of verifiable experience as a Home Health Aide or CNA.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
