Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Breakfast Porter to join our dedicated team at Hilton Garden Inn Derby. This role is crucial to ensuring our guests start their day right, with a smooth and efficiently run breakfast service. You will be responsible for the setup, replenishment, and clear-down of the breakfast area, working early morning shifts to ensure everything is ready for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Set up the breakfast buffet area according to hotel standards before guests arrive.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are fully stocked and presented appealingly throughout breakfast service.
- Assist with the delivery and storage of fresh produce and supplies for the breakfast service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and buffet stations.
- Clear and clean tables promptly and efficiently during and after breakfast hours.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, assisting with any requests related to the breakfast service.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, and dishwashers.
- Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage.
- Pack down the breakfast area and prepare for the next service, ensuring all equipment is clean and stored correctly.

Preferred Qualifications

- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
