Job Description
Sytner Group is seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to join our team as Car Show Display Polishers for an upcoming temporary event in Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who take immense pride in perfection and possess an unparalleled eye for detail, ensuring our luxury vehicles are presented flawlessly. As a Temporary Event Polisher, you will be instrumental in maintaining the pristine condition of our display vehicles throughout the event, reflecting the high standards and luxury image of the Sytner Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior polishing, waxing, and detailing of high-value display vehicles.
- Ensure all vehicles maintain a spotless, high-gloss finish, free from imperfections, throughout the entire event duration.
- Carry out light interior cleaning and detailing, including vacuuming and surface wiping, as required to maintain immaculate presentation.
- Proactively identify and promptly address any smudges, fingerprints, dust, or minor blemishes on vehicle surfaces.
- Adhere strictly to product application guidelines and safety protocols to protect vehicle finishes.
- Work collaboratively with event staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely vehicle maintenance.
- Manage and organize detailing equipment and supplies efficiently.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to perfection in vehicle presentation.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and polishing for extended periods.
- Highly reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong, proactive work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A keen eye for cleanliness, aesthetics, and overall vehicle presentation standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, professional polishing, or valeting is a significant advantage.
- A genuine passion for cars, especially luxury vehicles, and an understanding of premium vehicle care techniques.
- Experience working in event environments.
