Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide personalized care to clients right in their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying, and making beds.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including safe use of assistive devices.
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Home Instead office regarding client needs and changes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
Required Skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred, but not always required)
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (e.g., CNA, HHA, personal care assistant)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- High school diploma or GED
