Join The Home Depot team as a Click-Laminate Flooring Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our flooring specialists and professional contractors. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn about flooring installation, specifically click-laminate systems. You will assist with material handling, preparation, and on-site support, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist flooring specialists with the preparation and installation of click-laminate flooring.
- Safely transport and stage flooring materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing obstacles, and setting up necessary protective coverings.
- Measure, cut, and fit laminate planks under supervision.
- Help maintain an organized and safe job site.
- Clean up debris and dispose of waste materials appropriately after installation.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and installation best practices.
- Provide general support to professional contractors as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
