Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Content Reviewer to join our Internet Safety & Compliance team in San Antonio, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across various platforms to ensure adherence to platform policies, community guidelines, and legal requirements. Your primary objective will be to identify, analyze, and take appropriate action on content that violates safety standards, promoting a secure and compliant online experience for all users. This position requires strong decision-making skills, a high degree of empathy, and the ability to work with sensitive and potentially disturbing content while maintaining objectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content (e.g., text, images, videos) in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
- Accurately identify and categorize content violations related to internet safety, hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, and other prohibited material.
- Apply client-specific guidelines to make consistent and accurate decisions on content actions (e.g., removal, warning, escalation).
- Escalate complex or ambiguous cases to senior reviewers or specialized teams when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content review, meeting daily productivity targets.
- Stay updated on policy changes and adapt review practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members and leads to ensure consistent application of guidelines.
- Handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content responsibly and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in content moderation, online safety, or a similar review-based role.
- Familiarity with internet safety protocols, social media platforms, and online community guidelines.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in relevant fields such as Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or Criminal Justice.
