Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Marketing Admin Assistant with a strong focus on social media to join our dynamic marketing team in Austin. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our marketing department, particularly in supporting our digital presence and social media initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, with a keen interest in leveraging social media platforms for brand engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the marketing team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing presentations.
  • Coordinate and organize marketing events, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Support the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and messages, escalating as necessary.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on social media performance metrics.
  • Maintain marketing collateral and digital asset libraries.
  • Process invoices, manage expense reports, and track budget allocations for marketing projects.
  • Conduct market research and compile competitive analysis reports as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated understanding and active use of major social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of administrative support or marketing assistant experience.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms.
