Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases thoroughly to identify software defects.
- Document, track, and report bugs clearly and concisely using internal bug tracking systems.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved without introducing new problems.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and producers to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback on game quality, usability, and player experience.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard testing methodologies and tools.
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and ad-hoc testing as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games and the gaming industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with various operating systems and software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with different gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Basic understanding of game development cycles.
- Experience playing a wide variety of video game genres.
- Enrollment or completion of a degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design).
