Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and test cases thoroughly to identify software defects.
  • Document, track, and report bugs clearly and concisely using internal bug tracking systems.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved without introducing new problems.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and producers to understand game features and testing requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback on game quality, usability, and player experience.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard testing methodologies and tools.
  • Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and ad-hoc testing as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for video games and the gaming industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with various operating systems and software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with different gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
  • Basic understanding of game development cycles.

  • Enrollment or completion of a degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design).
