Job Description

Join Intel’s dynamic sustainability team as an Ecology Photo Tagger, where you will play a crucial role in our Green IT initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, categorizing, and tagging ecological imagery and related data. Your work will directly contribute to projects focused on environmental monitoring, biodiversity tracking, and sustainable resource management, providing the foundational data for critical analysis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about environmental science, data integrity, and leveraging technology for a greener planet. You will ensure the accuracy and consistency of our ecological datasets, supporting Intel’s commitment to environmental stewardship and the development of sustainable technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately tag and categorize ecological images based on predefined criteria and taxonomies.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency across all tagged assets.
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists and data analysts to understand project requirements and refine tagging guidelines.
  • Identify and escalate any anomalies or inconsistencies in the imagery or data.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tagging processes and tools.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheets and online data entry systems.
  • Demonstrated interest in environmental science, ecology, or sustainability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geography, or a related field.
