Job Description
Merkle is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Google Digital Ad Traffic Coordinator with a marketing focus to join our dynamic team in Denver. In this role, you will be instrumental in the successful execution and management of digital advertising campaigns across various Google platforms. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely setup, trafficking, and quality assurance of ad creatives and tracking elements, ensuring campaigns launch smoothly and perform effectively. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to collect all necessary ad creative assets and tracking tags.
- Accurately set up and traffic digital ad campaigns within Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform (Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360), and YouTube.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance (QA) checks on all campaign setups to ensure accuracy in targeting, tracking, and creative deployment.
- Monitor campaign launches and troubleshoot any trafficking or tracking issues promptly.
- Maintain organized records of all ad creatives, tracking codes, and campaign documentation.
- Assist in the generation of ad performance reports and provide insights on trafficking efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google advertising platform features, updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with media planners and strategists to optimize campaign delivery and performance.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in digital advertising operations or a related role.
- Proficiency with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital ad formats, tracking mechanisms (pixels, tags), and campaign structures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for ad tag implementation and troubleshooting is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with other ad platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, Video).
- Familiarity with project management tools.
