Job Description

As an Education Output Verifier for our Remote Learning Tech team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and instructional integrity of our digital learning content. You will meticulously review educational materials across various subjects and formats, including interactive modules, video lessons, assessments, and textual content, to guarantee they meet Pearson’s high standards and pedagogical guidelines. This remote position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of educational best practices, and a passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough verification of digital learning content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and consistency.
  • Ensure all educational outputs align with predefined learning objectives, curriculum standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Identify and document discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement in content quality and instructional design.
  • Collaborate with content creators, instructional designers, and development teams to communicate feedback and facilitate necessary revisions.
  • Perform functional testing of interactive elements and multimedia components to ensure proper operation and user experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of verification processes, feedback provided, and content status.
  • Stay updated on best practices in remote learning technology and educational content quality assurance.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors or inconsistencies.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for content review and collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of educational principles and content structures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, content review, editing, or instructional support roles.
