Job Description
As a FedEx Delivery Associate, you will be the face of FedEx, delivering packages to residential and business customers in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will operate a FedEx vehicle, manage your route efficiently, and ensure the safe and timely delivery of a wide range of packages. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver packages on a predetermined route.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Manage daily delivery logs and reports.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar logistics role.
- Familiarity with the New Port Richey and surrounding Pasco County areas.
- Experience with handheld scanning devices.
- A track record of reliable and safe driving.
