Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and professionally articulate WFH Liaison with a keen focus on communication to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless internal and external communication channels, supporting our freight operations, and ensuring clarity and consistency in all interactions. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact for various stakeholders, disseminating information, resolving communication breakdowns, and upholding FedEx Freight’s reputation for professionalism and reliability. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary remote communication point for internal departments, field operations, and external partners.
- Draft, review, and distribute professional communications, announcements, and reports via various digital channels.
- Proactively identify and address potential communication gaps or misunderstandings within a remote work environment.
- Organize and facilitate virtual meetings, ensuring all participants are engaged and information is clearly conveyed.
- Support the resolution of communication-related issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures, and service offerings to accurately inform stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR and IT to ensure remote communication tools and protocols are effectively utilized and supported.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience in a professional communication or liaison role.
- Proficiency with video conferencing and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, particularly in a remote setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to communication challenges.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
