Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Google Social Media Strategist with a strong performance focus to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing social media advertising campaigns primarily across Google’s platforms (YouTube, Google Ads for Social, etc.) to drive measurable results for our diverse client portfolio. You will leverage your expertise in social media strategy, analytics, and performance marketing to craft compelling campaigns that meet and exceed client KPIs. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative, performance-driven social media strategies for Google platforms, including YouTube advertising and Google Ads for social initiatives.
  • Manage, optimize, and scale social ad campaigns, closely monitoring budgets, bids, and overall campaign performance to achieve maximum ROI and client KPIs.
  • Conduct in-depth audience research, competitive analysis, and identify emerging trends to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize Google Analytics, Google Ads reporting, and other data visualization tools to track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal creative, content, and analytics teams to ensure integrated campaign execution and consistent brand messaging.
  • Stay at the forefront of the latest Google social media features, algorithm updates, best practices, and advertising tools to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Present strategic recommendations and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating insights and future campaign directions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in social media strategy, performance marketing, and paid social campaign management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Google Ads (specifically for social media campaigns) and YouTube advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Google Analytics and other relevant data analysis tools.
  • Excellent understanding of social media KPIs, attribution models, and comprehensive reporting methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a 100% remote work environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and client management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google certifications (e.g., Google Ads Social Certification, YouTube Certification).
  • Experience with other major social media advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related quantitative field.
