Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Gym Front Desk Attendant to be the welcoming face of our Evanston location. This role is crucial for creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth experience for all members and guests. You will manage member check-ins, answer inquiries, process transactions, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Accurately check in members using the club's system and assist with membership inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, direct calls, and provide information about club services, programs, and schedules.
- Process retail sales, membership renewals, and program registrations accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area.
- Address member concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally or escalate as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless club operations.
- Educate members on club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
