Job Description
Join the Amazon team in Colchester as a Hamper Sorter for our peak period! This is a fantastic opportunity to earn weekly payouts while contributing to our busy logistics operations. We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help us prepare and sort customer hampers, ensuring they reach their destinations accurately and on time. This role is crucial for our peak season success and offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and organize hampers according to designated routes or categories.
- Inspect hampers for quality and accuracy, ensuring all items are correctly placed.
- Lift and move hampers, packages, and other items as required (up to 15kg).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily sorting targets.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed during peak operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic physical fitness, capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
