Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a dynamic and rewarding part-time job in your local Temecula community? Starbucks is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team for afternoon shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop customer service skills, and contribute to a welcoming store environment. We are seeking individuals eager to learn, who can commit to a consistent afternoon schedule and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service, taking orders and preparing beverages and food items.
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, following company cash handling policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including beverage stations, customer areas, and restrooms.
- Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring products are readily available for customers.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
- Learn and master all aspects of barista duties and store operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
Required Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Availability to work afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in a customer service or team-oriented environment (e.g., school clubs, volunteer work, sports teams) is a plus, but not required.
