Job Description

We are seeking empathetic and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team in Mobile, Alabama. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance work with your personal life while providing essential care to clients across various suburbs of Mobile. As an HHA, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily living activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying common areas, and changing bed linens.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in client's health status or behavior to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist clients with safe transfers and ambulation, utilizing appropriate equipment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or run errands as required.
  • Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current HHA certification in Alabama
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with patient care

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification
