Job Description
Are you a highly motivated student with a passion for problem-solving and an interest in data-driven insights? Deloitte is seeking a Junior Business Analyst (Student) to join our dynamic team in Orlando. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, data collection, and basic data interpretation within a world-class consulting environment. You will support senior analysts and consultants on various projects, learning how to translate business needs into analytical requirements and contribute to actionable recommendations. This role is designed for students eager to develop their analytical capabilities and understand the impact of data in real-world business scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
- Support senior analysts in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations to visualize data findings.
- Participate in team meetings and client discussions, offering insights and taking detailed notes.
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices relevant to ongoing projects.
- Learn and apply various analytical tools and methodologies under guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous coursework or projects involving data analysis or business intelligence.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or basic programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
