Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Data Analyst with a strong focus on Google Analytics to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring data professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced financial technology environment. You will be instrumental in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources, with a particular emphasis on web analytics using Google Analytics. Your insights will help drive strategic decisions, optimize user experiences, and measure the effectiveness of our digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from Google Analytics and other digital marketing platforms to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Google Analytics properties and tracking codes.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support marketing campaigns, product development, and business strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
- Monitor website performance and user behavior, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and findings for internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest Google Analytics features, best practices, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 and Universal Analytics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Google Analytics certification (GAIQ)
- Experience with other web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio)
- Exposure to A/B testing methodologies and tools
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for tracking implementation
