Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our Freshers Program as a Junior NLP Data Analyst. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates or those early in their careers who are passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP) and data analytics. You will work on real-world projects, applying NLP techniques to extract insights from vast amounts of text data, under the guidance of experienced mentors. This program offers extensive training, skill development, and a clear path for career progression within our data science and AI teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets of text and speech for NLP models.
- Support the development and implementation of NLP algorithms and models, including sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and entity recognition.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to analyze NLP model performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Learn and apply best practices in data governance, data quality, and data security relevant to NLP.
- Participate actively in mentorship sessions, workshops, and continuous learning initiatives to enhance NLP and data analysis skills.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Foundational understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
- Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior academic projects or coursework involving NLP, machine learning, or deep learning.
- Familiarity with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data processing and model deployment.
- A passion for language, data, and artificial intelligence, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow.
