Job Description

Join the UPS team as a Livery Service Aide, an entry-level position vital to our logistics operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ready for service, supporting the efficient flow of packages and freight. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the staging and movement of vehicles within the facility yard.
  • Perform interior and exterior cleaning of delivery vehicles, including cabins and cargo areas.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of vehicles (e.g., tire pressure, fluid levels, damage checks).
  • Report any vehicle malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needs to supervisory staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle service area and general facility grounds.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
  • Support other operational tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth facility operation.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move packages and equipment up to 70 pounds without assistance.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a physical labor, warehouse, or vehicle service role.
