Job Description
Are you a die-hard Madden fan with an eagle eye for detail? Do you dream of influencing the next generation of sports gaming? EA Sports is looking for enthusiastic and meticulous Playtesters for Madden 25! This is an immediate start, on-site contract role in Temecula, CA, offering a top hourly rate for individuals passionate about ensuring the highest quality gameplay experience. You will be instrumental in identifying and documenting bugs, providing critical feedback on gameplay mechanics, and helping to polish Madden 25 into a truly exceptional title.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans and scripts for Madden 25 across various game modes and features.
- Thoroughly identify, reproduce, and document software defects, glitches, and inconsistencies.
- Provide constructive and objective feedback on gameplay, user interface, AI behavior, and overall user experience.
- Verify bug fixes and regressions to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, producers, and fellow testers to communicate findings.
- Adhere strictly to project timelines and maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased game content.
- Actively engage in play sessions, providing real-time input and observations.
Required Skills
- Exceptional passion for video games, especially the Madden NFL franchise and sports games.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle inconsistencies or errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting and feedback.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and execute test cases accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with gaming console platforms.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in game testing, quality assurance, or beta testing (formal or informal).
