Job Description
Join the Boots UK team in Plymouth as a Makeup Warehouse Packer and play a crucial role in our logistics operation. In this essential full-time position, you will be responsible for the efficient and careful handling of a wide range of beauty and makeup products within our clean and safe warehouse environment. We are looking for diligent individuals who pay close attention to detail and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured setting and wants to contribute to a smooth supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack makeup and beauty products according to order specifications.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet Boots' standards before dispatch.
- Organise and maintain inventory within designated warehouse areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all training guidelines.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 15kg regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role is an advantage.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
