Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Media & News AI Verifier to join our innovative team. In this smart working role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the accuracy and credibility of our news output by verifying content generated or processed by AI systems. You will be responsible for fact-checking, identifying potential biases or inaccuracies, and ensuring all information adheres to our high journalistic standards. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, strong media literacy, and an interest in the intersection of AI and journalism. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify factual accuracy of news content produced or augmented by AI systems.
- Identify and correct grammatical errors, stylistic inconsistencies, and potential biases in AI-generated text.
- Cross-reference information with reliable sources to ensure truthfulness and context.
- Report on discrepancies or issues found within AI-processed content to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with AI developers and editorial staff to improve AI models and content quality.
- Stay updated on AI advancements and their implications for media and news verification.
- Adhere strictly to journalistic ethics and company guidelines.
