Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and vigilant Part-time Door Supervisor to join our elite security team, specifically for weekend shifts at various vibrant entertainment venues across Palmdale. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patrons, providing excellent customer service while maintaining security standards.
- Monitor entry and exit points, checking identification and ensuring compliance with venue policies.
- Prevent unauthorized access and manage crowd control efficiently and politely.
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and address any potential security risks or disturbances.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and escalated situations.
- Liaise effectively with venue management, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and security activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and staff within the venue.
Required Skills
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security, preferably in a supervisory or door staff role.
- Proven conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in high-volume entertainment venues, bars, or nightclubs.
- Advanced de-escalation training or similar certifications.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work independently.
- A clean criminal record and reliable transportation.
