Job Description
Join JSX as a Part-time Flight Attendant, focusing on our exclusive weekend charter routes. In this vital role, you will be the face of our exceptional service, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers on every flight. This position is perfect for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing unparalleled customer service during weekend operations. You will be instrumental in creating a seamless and pleasant experience for our guests, embodying the JSX commitment to sophisticated and stress-free travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout weekend charter flights.
- Conduct pre-flight safety briefings and demonstrations of safety equipment.
- Perform pre-flight cabin checks, ensuring all safety equipment is onboard and functional.
- Provide exceptional in-flight service, including serving beverages and snacks.
- Address passenger inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Handle unexpected situations with calm and decisive action, including medical emergencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting cabin environment.
- Adhere to all FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with flight deck crew and ground staff to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or aviation.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays consistently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to complete and maintain FAA required flight attendant certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a flight attendant or cabin crew member.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Experience with charter or private aviation operations.
