Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful impact on weekends? BrightStar Care of Phoenix is seeking a Part-time In-Home Care Aide to join our weekend roster. This vital role involves providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing), toileting, and mobility.
- Provide light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status or behavior to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
- Adhere strictly to all BrightStar Care policies, procedures, and client care plans.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Required Skills
- Exceptional empathy, patience, and compassion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday shifts).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, nursing assistance, or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic first aid.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
