Job Description
Are you passionate about fitness and eager to start a career in personal training? GoodLife Fitness is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Personal Trainer Assistant to join our dynamic team in Old Milton. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will work alongside certified Personal Trainers, learning the ropes of client support, equipment setup, and session management. Full training will be provided to ensure your success and growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Personal Trainers with session setup and breakdown, including preparing equipment and workout areas.
- Support clients during their workouts, ensuring proper form and safety under trainer supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized training environment, including sanitizing equipment after use.
- Help manage client schedules and administrative tasks as needed.
- Observe and learn various training methodologies and client engagement techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service to all gym members and personal training clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are adhered to.
Required Skills
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.

- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of gym etiquette and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Some knowledge of anatomy and exercise science.
