Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Process prescription requests, including data entry and insurance billing.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workstation.
- Handle cash register transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures related to pharmacy practice.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer usage.
- Willingness to learn and commit to obtaining a Pharmacy Technician license (company-sponsored).
