Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all paid training programs to gain a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations.
  • Learn to accurately and efficiently process prescriptions, including data entry and medication preparation under pharmacist supervision.
  • Assist pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing exceptional customer service to patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and direct questions to the pharmacist as appropriate.
  • Stock shelves, manage inventory, and assist with general pharmacy duties.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies regarding pharmacy practices.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop a career in pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in any field.
  • Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
