Job Description

As a Virtual Beta Tester focused on new EA Releases, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and enjoyment of our upcoming games. Working remotely, you will dive into pre-release versions of games, providing detailed feedback on gameplay, functionality, bugs, and overall user experience. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate gamers to contribute directly to the development of world-class entertainment titles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and identify bugs, glitches, and other issues in pre-release game builds.
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, audio, and visual elements.
  • Document bugs and issues accurately using provided bug tracking tools.
  • Assess overall user experience and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams and other testers to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality agreements regarding unreleased content.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with PC and/or console gaming platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home testing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in game testing, QA, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Deep understanding of specific EA franchises (e.g., sports, shooters, simulation).
  • Experience with various gaming genres and platforms.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and reporting issues.
