Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Private Equity Analyst to join our team in Chelsea, London. This unique opportunity offers sponsorship for exceptional, top-tier talent looking to launch their career in private equity. The successful candidate will be a critical member of our investment team, contributing to all aspects of the investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing and execution to portfolio management and exit strategies. This role is designed for individuals with outstanding academic achievements, strong analytical capabilities, and a keen interest in financial markets and corporate strategy, even if direct private equity experience is limited. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analyses.
  • Perform in-depth industry and company specific due diligence.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for investment committee review.
  • Support senior team members in deal sourcing, screening, and execution.
  • Monitor performance of portfolio companies and assist with strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, accounting, commercial).

Required Skills

  • Exceptional academic record, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated interest in private equity, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding team environment.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • CFA candidacy or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Knowledge of various valuation methodologies and financial instruments.
