Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Professional Field Auditor to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City. This role involves conducting comprehensive audits of various operational areas, financial records, and compliance procedures across our retail locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently to identify risks, evaluate controls, and recommend improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting scheduled and unscheduled field audits of retail stores, distribution centers, and other company facilities.
- Evaluating internal controls, operational efficiencies, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Identifying discrepancies, potential fraud, and non-compliance issues.
- Preparing detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborating with store management and other departments to implement audit recommendations.
- Analyzing financial data, inventory records, and sales transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Providing training and guidance on audit best practices to relevant personnel.
- Assisting in special investigations as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in auditing, internal controls, or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA, CIA, CFE, or other relevant professional certifications.
- Experience with retail operations or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and software.
- Prior experience in a multi-location audit environment.
