Job Description
Are you passionate about holistic wellness and eager to learn the ancient art of Indian Head Massage? Bannatyne Health Club & Spa is seeking a dedicated Indian Head Massage Apprentice to join our skilled therapy team in Birmingham. This is an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with no prior experience, keen to embark on a rewarding career in the spa and beauty industry. You will receive comprehensive training in traditional techniques, client care, and spa operations, guided by our experienced therapists.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo thorough training in Indian Head Massage techniques, including oil application, massage strokes, and pressure points.
- Learn about the history, benefits, and contraindications of Indian Head Massage.
- Assist senior therapists with treatment room preparation and client intake procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil spa environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client comfort and satisfaction.
- Learn to consult with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the spa.
- Attend all required training sessions and complete practical assessments.
- Develop a strong understanding of other spa treatments and services.
- Contribute positively to the overall team atmosphere and spa success.
