Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility in Wesley Chapel, FL. This vital role involves managing the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors, and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate department or individual, and take accurate messages.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow and minimizing wait times.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
- Process patient registrations and accurately verify insurance information.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide general information about the facility and services to inquiries.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a reception or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous attitude under pressure.
- Empathy and a compassionate approach to patient interaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Healthcare Management).
