Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote Security Admin to join our global team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding Concentrix’s digital assets, with a primary focus on protecting user data across our remote workforce environment. You will implement, monitor, and maintain security systems, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to our security posture from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and tools for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and implement remediation actions.
- Administer user access controls, permissions, and identity management systems.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and applications.
- Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in a remote work setting.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all systems and applications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
- Educate and train remote employees on security best practices and compliance.
- Manage and maintain security configurations for endpoints, servers, and network devices.
- Document security incidents, remediation steps, and security configurations.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in information security, specifically in a Security Administrator or Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Active Directory, Okta).
- Familiarity with network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, WAFs).
- Knowledge of operating systems security (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, GSEC).
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
